Virtuoso Piano Pro Classic App Reviews

The sound is much worse than the new Virtuoso 3: this version sounds like a run-down 1900s piano... I bought it and deleted it immediately. It does have different features than the new one though- like recording and a metronome... But I say you should get the new version while its still free.

Love it! Love it! Love it! I cant believe something so cool is available as an app. Im a singer, and often need a starting note, or the ability to play a line or two of a song. This is fabulous for that. I downloaded to my iPhone so the keyboard is a little small, but is very workable--and I have my keyboard with me in my pocket! Very cool.

Please make an update for this app so you can slide the screen over one key at a time like in the free version. Some chords cannot be played without that.

Well, this was quite unexpected to "upgrade" to the paid version only to find key features of the free version are not available, plus the sound is worse! Upgrade and you lose the ability to scroll the keyboard key-by-key. Sound is mediocre.... A regression from free version. Ive been fleeced.

I love it...I read some of the negative reviews and had to think it over. I decided to get it anyways and its great. Love the sound and has many options!

I bought this thinking it would be the same as the free version minus the ads and plus the recording but it was much different and not to my liking. I also think that with the recording feature, you should have the option to upload to Facebook or to save the recording to the phone for other sharing options. But I do agree with other reviewers, this needs to have the same one key scroll feature and the sound is not as good as the free version. So far a waste of 99 cents.

It is awesome!! although I cant find how to get the second row of the piano. That is the only problem but other then that IT IS AWESOME! You can record your song and name it and save it!! Now that is COOL!! Buy it and enjoy this gift from iTunes! :D

I have emailed you before about updating Virtuoso Piano Pro 2 with the scrolling key feature. you did say it would happen. I see that version 3 came out. SO. I decided to redownload VIrtuoso Piano Pro from the app store. In doing so, I was charged again, AGAIN, because you have apparently removed 2 pro from the app store and replaced it with an almost identical version, save the name. DO you not see how confusing that is? ITs the same icon, same price as 2. How could I not be confused. You have tricked me out of $1. Very bad form and it HAS been reported already to Apple. Im very disappointed by your behavior. I cannot believe you would mislead people like this. AT the very least I am owed that $1 back. Seriously, there is no defense to this. You removed the original Pro 2, replaced it with THIS version, and confused people looking for the original app. Bad form. BAD form. Look, PeterB. Ive tried. Lots of others have tried. At one point you answered my email by saying the updated Virtuoso Piano 2 that I PAID for would be updated to be just like the free version, meaning the scrolling key feature. It never was. And now? You release Virtuoso Piano 3 WITH the scrolling feature. But I have to pay for no ads. I already paid for version 2 which you said would get an update for scrolling keys. I feel hoodwinked. Swindled. Yes, its just a buck, but still. Disappointed.

Please add a scooper key because there so many songs that start on different notes

Wow so your lite version has better graphics, than the one I payed a dollar for!!! Really?!?!

After trying out different piano apps, Ive found the one. NOT this one. Smule magic piano is the best piano app Ive found and I am completely happy with it. Dont waist your money on this lesser, harder to use, worse sounding app.

Whatever you do dont buy any add-on content for this app. It will purchase but you will never be able to use it.

I bought this app to have it not work before my eyes! I love music and now Im really sad!:( I want my money back! }:(

Virtuoso 2.0 (the free one) is way better than the updated version 3 (also free) and this one which I paid a dollar for. Unfortunately I cant record with that version, even though it is much better. In addition to that, this version that actually costs a dollar to download doesnt allow you to scroll by individual notes like the Free version 2 did. Version 2 also responded much better, sounded much better, and looked much better. Please consider taking version 2 and incorporating recording functionality to it as the newest update to making this program simple, easier to use, and better all around. Dont try to fix something if it isnt broken. Its unfortunate that I had to pay $.99 to find out at the pro version I keep getting prompted to upgrade to is worse than the free one. Lastly, it is unfortunate that I cant use version 2 just to come up with ideas when I am not at home near my keyboard, because every time Im in the middle of playing out an idea in my head, the program comes up with the screen to upgrade to version 3 and ruins the melody that Im trying to get out of my head. Ive been trying to use it with a voice recorder just to do this, but Im always interrupted by prompts to the upgrade and have to continuously hit remind me later while the keys freeze up , causing me to lose the initial idea that I set up playing. Version 2 Was Way more responsive and sounded better on top of all of this as well!

- I think it would be more useful app if: I can use kinetic scroll to move the key range. I can move the key range of two keyboards indefendently. I can adjust the keyboard size by a key(its possible in free version but not in pro version). Im not satisfied after used this app.

I bought the Pro version a while ago and used it. It DID have two octaves on one screen. Now theres only one which makes it pretty much worthless to me now! Wheres the second octave?!?

Im just a beginner but u cant slide it down between any notes u want only one way u can. I cant even play Ferliz by beethoven!

I have perfect pitch, and I had to scroll the setting back to about 435.5 Hz before the A actually sounded like an A 440. I know thats not very much, but considering I payed for this app, the least they could do is use the correct frequencies.
